If you are a new player, deathmatch is the best mode to start. In deathmatch you can play large group of enemies and after you die, you will be quickly respawning. You can try killing with different type of weapons and each weapon have unique point amounts. This mode is good way to explore the game.
Arms Race
This is my personal favorite mode of CS: Go. Every time you kill an enemy you will get a newer and better weapon. And it has instant respawning design for rapid and close combat. If you can go through all the weapons, you can finally get the golden knife to kill. It is the ultimate weapon of every shooting game.
Flying Scoutsman
This mode is casual 8 vs 8 game with reduced gravity. And it will only allow 2 weapons. Knives and SSG 08 sniper rifles. First team to win 9 rounds will be the winners.

Team Fortress 2
Team fortress 2 is one of most popular free steam games out there. It has 667k very positive reviews on steam store.
For us team fortress is the funniest steam game out there. It has many game modes, maps, equipment, tactical abilities and personalities to play with. With all the updates, team fortress 2 now have 11 game modes. Payload, Arena, King of the Hill, Payload Race, Medieval Mode, Special Delivery, Mann vs. Machine, Robot Destruction, Mannpower, PASS Time, and Player Destruction. When it first coming out only had Capture the flag, control point and territorial control.
Capture the flag comes with red and blu bases containing its own intelligence case. And its located in deep inside their territory. And player must bring enemies intelligence briefcase to their place without getting captured by enemies. There are 7 maps that you can play this mode.
King of the Hill is one of most famous and funniest game modes newly game. Team have to move to their control point and capture it. Once a team captured a control point there will be three-minute countdown timer for enemies to capture that point. It has over 10 maps to play this mode.
